It was originally setup as Power Saving in 2005 and transformed into a wider organisation as Power Solutions in 2011.Through the collaborative partnering with customers, suppliers and contractors to provide consultancy, design, and implementation of state-of-the art customised solutions, we have managed to implement a large number of projects that are ultimately saving money for our clients. The bottom line is that it enables businesses to take full advantage of the benefits from a sustainable and energy efficient approach.

Photovoltaic panels are the transformation of solar energy (light) into electrical energy, also called solar power.
What do I require to generate solar power?
In order to generate solar power, a solar power system is needed, which can be mounted either on roofs or on the ground.
What is a solar power system?
A solar power system consists of solar power panels, one or more inverters, as well as a mounting system. Solar irradiation creates a direct current in the solar cells. The direct current is then transmitted to the inverter and is then transformed into grid-compatible alternating current. The produced solar power is fed into the public grid and is compensated by the local grid operator per kilowatt hour (unit).
What is a solar power panel?

Basically, solar power systems can be installed on almost all roofs. The best way to decide how they can be installed is through a site visit.
Do the PV panels require any maintenance?
The only maintenance required is the cleaning of the modules regularly with water only, especially after one of the ‘dusty’ rainfalls that are quite common in Malta.
Should I insure my PV system?
Insurance on your PV system is highly recommended, since ‘Acts of God’ are not covered by any warranty offered by manufacturers.
